Kino in Not!

SpOn hat einen Bericht über die aktu­elle Misere der Kinos, und Anke Grö­ner kom­men­tiert die­sen. Da ich am Sonn­tag auch mal wie­der im Kino war, hier mal mein Senf dazu:

Bling, Bling

Spent the most money on a sin­gle role­play­ing book EVER. The Game of Thro­nes Role­play­ing Game in the Limited Deluxe edi­tion. No  idea which devil drove me to this, but at least it arri­ved very promptly, and indeed does look the part: Expen­sive qua­lity paper, all color, very neat illus­tra­ti­ons, lea­ther bin­ding, and all the extras.

Knee Deep in the Dead!

Yes, I’ve been to the Doom movie yes­ter­day. Over­all ver­dict: It’s ok. Basi­cally it’s your stan­dard „military-mission-that-goes-wrong“ flick with scary shock effects and lot of gore. I even lear­ned some­thing: the mars sta­tion is cold thanks to lower gra­vity, perky women don’t need bras. unmar­ried men instantly reco­gnize and app­re­ciate the com­bi­na­tion of 1) and 2) On top of
