Google Mail hatte ja heute irgendwelche Probleme. Ich selbst hab davon kaum was mitbekommen, saß offline in der Bahn. Und jetzt schreiben sie auf dem Google Blog:
Before you can access your Gmail, you may be asked to fill in what’s
called a ‘CAPTCHA’ which asks you to type in a word or some letters
before you can proceed. This is perfectly normal when you repeatedly
request access to your email account, so please do go through the extra
step – it’s just to verify you are who you say you are.
WTF?
Nochmal zum Mitdenken: Das Captcha stellt sicher, dass ich der bin, der ich behaupte zu sein?
Die Fähigkeit verzerrten Text zu lesen bestätigt meine Identität? Was für ein Schwachsinn! Das ist die armseligste und auf lange Sicht schädlichste Begründung für sowas. Unbedarfte Anwender glauben sowas hinterher sogar noch!
